Somewhat Canadian, somewhat a musician, somewhat a writer, somewhat a guitar decal maker...
He's going to claim he's prescient, or at least get a bot to do so ...

Not as many as this article portends.

Don't believe the talking heads that claim to speak for Albertans. People out here are not cool with this.

Name one thing.

Well, talking about it cross-platforms plays right into his hands. It's why he's doing this. Sometimes, the pollution isn't worth it.

This is one the things I hate most about social media wholesale - how even unaffiliated platforms like the one we're sharing right now ends up hosting brain farts.

They never stopped sucking. Now it's also really gonna blow too.

Is this by the Home Hardware out there in Mountjoy?

CAAAAAAAAAT!

It's shit like this that makes me wonder if indeed he's doing it for the pension...

Ugh, PP talking points... I feel icky now...
January 7, 2025 at 3:54 AM
He fucked us over with that line.
January 7, 2025 at 2:39 AM
Some of us tuned in to his press conference. It was disgraceful and stupid, painting us in a corner politically speaking.
January 7, 2025 at 2:35 AM
You've let me and I suspect thousands of others down. I think Justin Trudeau did the right thing in resigning (better late than never, I suppose). I think you should do the same.
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
You put it in such a way it'll be impossible to get ourselves out of the corner you painted us in. This is so idiotically disastrous, and so unnecessary. We could have been gracious and also promote ourselves as that gracious alternative with our house in order vs the Tories.
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I have been a lifelong NDP member and voter. Your performance today, I gotta say, you just cut our legs out from under us. We're the party with the good policies and good track record for all Canadians. You undermined that and progressive politics wholesale with that press conference.
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
How is this even going to get us in official opposition if all we do is point fingers like Poilièvre? Do you honestly think that's why the Tories are polling so high?

Ever though of, oh I dunno... promote our party instead? We do have a track record - or did you forget it?
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Instead, you pissed away our political capital for free, and just made Pierre Poilièvre and the Conservatives' job a whole lot easier, whilst coming off as a junior member wanting to shoulder in to the grownup's table.

What for? How is this going to help us?
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
You state there was nothing left to gain from the Liberals, but that isn't strictly true - we have a nearly exhaustive list of priorities you failed to even mention once that need to be addressed. A new leader and a short political leash would have been possible once the HoC returned.
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Look Mr. Singh, on the fundamentals, I agree - the Liberals have been awful on a lot of fronts.

But being obstinate and inflexible in the attempt to look resolute and committed makes our party look like we don't have the ability to flex our political muscle
January 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
@charlieangus104.bsky.social what are your thoughts about this? I understand it's not really going to be your fight for much longer, but I can't be the only NDPer that feels this way...
January 6, 2025 at 8:29 PM
And if people think that I'm just engaging in hyperbole, let me assure you that what he did was career ending disastrous. He has demonstrated that his political instincts are very poor, and is not suited to lead a party nationally.

I voted for Singh for leader. Man do I regret it now.
