It also mainly suffered from a truly horrible campaign/plot. Halo multi-player was always a big deal, but people seem to have forgotten just how big a deal halos campaign was before 4 and how 5 ruined the last dregs of single player

People just forget about how many games were so horribly optimized, even in the days of the NES. Like, yeah you had to optimize stuff better, but there were a lot of companies that didn't do it and their stuff ran like shit. Sieve of time has filtered the bad stuff out of people's memory

I loved The Force Awakens and I think it's on par with Jedi. The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker however... Those were just garbage front to back
