As a SA/DV survivor, I'm really not sure how to process a convicted rapist being president of my country. This is a particular brand of hurt and anger that I don't know if I'll ever truly get over.

The amount of calls I've declined from my family since yesterday morning hurts. But I made my stance clear to them and they still did what they did. Time to stand firm.
