I love Cameron and I liked it but I love the first two movies, especially the second which was one of the greatest cinematic experiences of my life so far. Fire and Ash is easily my least favorite of the three

I think Griffin trying to defend Look Who's Talking Too for its "unintentional avant-garde storytelling" (while David went "yeah cause no script") was the wildest take of the year, he's just extremely lenient to any comedy from over 15 years ago

I mostly don't mind (the movie Warrens are basically fictional) but the eulogizing texts you normally see in a biopic at the end of the last one did make me roll my eyes

I don't think The Pitt is the best show of those nominated (it's good) but I hope it winning sends a signal that there is worth in refocusing more on these kind of longform dramas again

My hot(?) (warm? cold?) take is all the build up to the island is good, should cut like 15% of the neverending island action (still leaves a lot and also the dinosaur stampede is the one scene that looks bad), the New York third act great
