What I’m probably going to get is more turn based games that are dark and bloody with a combat system that gets at least one reviewer to call it “Soulslike”, despite completely not understanding why that works for E33 and isn’t just something you can copy/paste to your game.

I’m just afraid of 5-8 years from now when we start to get a ton of E33 imitators that just completely miss the mark. E33 has a lot of things that make it special that I don’t actually WANT to see replicated ad nauseam. I want more PS1 style JRPGs (even if they’re not made in Japan)

It’s 1 in the morning, I should probably sleep, I need to resist the urge to boot my game up and check the scan logs. I know I got the first two…. I have no clue about that Federation dude though.

Yeah, I could have guessed that, but I’ve never seen it before. Then again I don’t drink a lot of coffee.

November is over! One month to go! Got a surprising amount of games finished, especially considering how much I hyper focused on Digimon Story. By far the best Digimon game on the market right, possibly even my personal GOTY. It’s not perfect, but it was a very “me” game.

I hate people that argue “you should just embrace this empty fad because it’s the *future* “ like they’re some forward thinking genius. I work in IT, nobody wants AI crap, I’m just begging Microsoft to stop throwing CoPilot in my face every time I log into a client’s Office portal.

Well that lasted 5 minutes. Code in a box is gross but it’s on sale and we can wrap it and put it under the tree.

The other Supermassive games have built in multiplayer too, and I like a lot of the Dark Pictures games! (My favorite is House of Ashes).
Still insane they didn’t add that multiplayer into the Until Dawn remake. That was like, the one cool thing they could have done.
