i remember when q got introduced to these movies and i was like wow he's cute and then fandom went all in on bond/q and i was like ok??? and now rewatching these movies has me MAD like EVE IS RIGHT THERE AND SHE SHAVES HIS FACE AND NECK WITH A STRAIGHT RAZOR!!!!!! their sexual tension is CRAZY

this has been such a fun period of discovery for me and i am very happy that i have great friends who are also v into movies and i am just very content with this being one of my hobbies lately. movies rock!

and she said it was such a good answer because if she asked the same thing of her husband he would say "to be entertained" and leave it at that. and like, yes! but also, no! it's so much more than that

namely that i love that movies make me see things from another perspective. i love seeing other people's stories. i love stories, period. it scratches the english major in me who loves analyzing and breaking something down, but in a different medium. idk, i just love movies!!
