I think fines on businesses should be a percentage of revenue and assets. This is so that consequences can be felt by the company, even when it has billions in assets. $120 million is pocket change to Musk and not likely a strong deterrent.

Honestly, I think that’s what they’re aiming for. Keep us broke, sick, and here, only alive enough to keep the capitalist machine running.

I totally agree but I don’t think it’ll be successful because of the GOP majority. We need reform that allows the minority party to act when things serious happens.
