My best Global Challenge run yet! I did some actual practice with this team before the tour like simulating a GC run and I think it paid off. Also stopped early with 9 games left. Might post the team tomorrow, not sure. Hope it's enough for top 32 (and for Liberty Note results)

I forgot to make a post like a week or two ago but better late than never. The Damage Calc now has Gen 5 VGC sets, and a dropdown menu for Hidden Power IV spreads for gens 3-6! I also made the app run a little faster overall.

Another: weather doesn't affect Quark Drive, and terrain doesn't affect Protosynthesis.

Another one to add: if both sun and another weather are present turn zero, and the other weather goes first, the Booster Energy will be consumed and Protosynthesis will activate before sun (I think it's safe to assume the same would happen with Quark Drive and electric terrain).

Just to add context, this is what happens in every other case without weather/terrain. All other turn zero abilities activate, then Booster Energy activates, and because of this activation order, the same Roaring Moon from the previous video gets a Speed boost instead of an Attack one.

This is relevant for something like a Roaring Moon with an Attack boosting Booster Energy, because if your weather setter outspeeds the opponent's Intimidate, you get the boost in Attack before they can lower your Attack and change the boost to Speed.

This also works with Quark Drive and an ability that sets terrain other than electric terrain.

Learned about an odd interaction today at a local:

On turn zero, if a Pokemon with Protosynthesis holding a Booster Energy and a Pokemon with a weather ability that doesn't set sun enter the field, Protosynthesis activates immediately after the weather ability.

(Bluesky is getting this early because there's no schedule option)
New VGC Damage Calc update: damage calculations have been reworked. This will make multi-hit calculations more accurate! I also added an extra decimal point for calculations, but I might go back to just one if it isn't that useful.
