I know exactly what I would be doing in government right now. Preparing for the worse and moving closer to Europe. Trump given us too many warnings to ignore now. Only a fool would. Governing is hard this time must be used wisely to prepare.

If we do that trident becomes a huge source of pain. Also chagos, intelligent sharing. Don't forget MasterCard, visa. We would be forced to make a very hard decoupling and choices. At some point we will say no and won't be pretty.

Easy to protest from sidelines but governing is harder. When comes down to it many people screaming about courage wouldn't want the consequences or be willing to deal with it. Also don't have a clue or willing to admit they don't understand how things work. It just noise that should be ignored.

Not just the UK but EU too. Reading both statements they d school language and way of doing things. We're not ready and unable to think America is different now

Not just that but it reason to break off support and talks. Or get more from Americans and less for Ukraine. Europeans should be looking at this and national security strategy taking things seriously.
