the audiobook is fantastic! Very well produced with a full cast that makes you feel like you're listening to a sports documentary filled with hot goss

Absolutely! A book is a book, whether short or audio or reread or graphic novels! The only things I don't count are picture books I read out loud for my kids, but everything else that I read for myself, yes!

I don't often read middle grade BUT Kwame Crashes the Underworld is one that made me rethink my biases against the genre. I also recently read Vanya and the Wild Hunt and enjoyed it! My childhood favorite is The Unicorn Chronicles by Bruce Coville

I LOVE this audiobook. I am so torn though because the worldbuilding is the kind that I would prefer to eyeball read, but the narrator is just so good as Gideon that I can't NOT listen.

I'm enjoying it so far!! I've heard such good things about her. I'm a sci-fi newbie and figured I'd start with this short one!

Yes! I read Killers of the Flower Moon first, then The Wager. The Wager was way out of my comfort zone because I don't usually read history, and definitely nothing about ships and sailing, but I loved his storytelling. Loved both books!

- conclusion has a powerful argument about queerness, with the author reflecting on her own trans identity
- fantastic audiobook narrator - feels like listening to an attenborough nature show

Out Feb 25!

I enjoyed this one for the audiobook experience. I gave it the same rating as a story though. I was wondering why ALL the characters were so horny, and then someone had to remind me this is the writer's first step out of YA, where hormones are wild 😆
