This was a lovely warm up to The Last of Us coming back on soon. I would much rather encounter a mushroom hare than a clicker… unless I get to hang with Pedro Pascal. Can’t turn down, that man.

Damn, did I ever breeze through this one. The Southern’s Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. I like this guy’s writing style. Nice mix of humorous and gore.

Snagged Weyward at the library. Love me some bug witches. I could have sworn booktok said it was 👩‍❤️‍👩🏳️‍🌈 vibes, but it was giving sapphic if you squint. Like a hard squint.
Anyway, still enjoyed it. Feeling the urge to befriend a crow and curse my exes with bug infestations.

Cool, cool, cool. I’m going to be totally normal about this book. Is it too early to say this is my favorite read of the year? I have so much love for Lucy Undying.

Ask me to be okay with discussing this book with anyone willing to talk about it. Seriously. DM me.

Well this was a cute but heart-wrenching read. So good, so relatable, soooo never drinking spiked seltzer (I say like I drank so much of it before 🙃).

This book, and I mean this unironically when I say this, was a HOOT! Funny, but super dark and twisted. I will not be able to drink milkshakes for a while. Bought it for the cover and deem it super appropriate.

This… is a book I finish today (mainly because I am crushing my reading goals for the year). It was okay. Its Bridgerton but with witches and no closets, which isn’t my cup of tea, so maybe I’m the problem. Plot twist was less of a twist, more of a straight line. Plus, 🌶️ was salt and black pepper.

And another one bites the dust- glad I had a long weekend alone because I couldn’t put it down. Catch me impatiently waiting for Alecto the Ninth to come out, but I’m picking up something a little more cheery for my next read.

First book of the year down. Harrow the Ninth, second in The Locked Tomb series. This was a ride and I loved it. Cursed a lot, was confused for a hot second, but I loved it. Have to start the third book right away.
