For the first time since 1988, the U.S. is not officially commemorating World AIDS Day
Noting the decision not to mark the day, the State Department stated: "An awareness day is not a strategy." Activists in the fight to end the ongoing AIDS epidemic disagree.

As a born Czech, I still get a lump in my throat. And as a naturalized American I got a lump during Rick's profound speech at the No Kings Rally in Edmonds, WA today. He drew historical and geographical lessons relevant to the institutional back-sliding occurring in US and our need for action. 🙏
