This event is prompting reflection. Not the middle of the night raid where children were zip tied, not the attacks in broad daylight on civilians and legal residents. I mean, I'm glad *something* has prompted reflection but for crying out loud. Have people not been paying attention?

I'm shocked that they said this so definitively. I expected them to put out a garbage AI generated paper confirming their "findings." Then scientists would have had to spend weeks refuting and pulling it apart. Why the about face? They didn't let it fade into the chaos?

This isn't getting nearly enough attention. Thank you for sticking with the story. The mifepristone case is about the legality of FDA review and it's about the validity of science.

This is either extortion or smoke and mirrors. There is an exemption for companies that manufacture in the US, where most pharma companies create at least some portion of their drugs. And those that don't will quickly announce investments.

This article actually is quite clear about the problematic material, and not only on the last paragraph. This "museum" and its flaws are newsworthy because of its location and sponsorship by the US govt.

He's been quiet this week, but look at how much awful stuff happened anyway. We cannot be looking at his death or removal as the solution. The wheels of destruction are so fully in motion that he is nearly irrelevant. Our work and protest must continue.

If the armed militia isn't out protecting protestors and immigrants who are being arrested in courthouses while seeking a legal path to citizenship NOW, what are they waiting for? Oh, right...they don't see the fascism that they are supposedly armed to fight against.

That seems like a ripe opportunity for a lawsuit, and Pharma has deep pockets. If the US bans the sale of a safe and legal vaccine, I can't see how that would stand up in court. Reminds me of the issues when they tried to stop mifepristone administration.

You all would know better than me, but how exactly would they "ban" it? They could make it harder to get by changing recommendations (ACIP seems aligned with this). But would they revoke the approval? That would be in FDA's remit.
