The one issue with my approach is that adding complications that seemed cool at the time but require complex solutions ended up extending our campaign to a fair bit.
Do we want to fight the evil black dragon? Yeah
Can we do it as a 6 man team? No
What do we need? An army.
Now we're trying to get one

Fun fact, i am running a 2 (soon to be 3) year old campaign of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition.
Our goal is to play until Black Fire Pass, chronologically, we're in 2512, we may end up diverging and causing new problems than the End Times.
I love it.
