Yes. My exact sentiments.
Probably what made IgAN bad for so long was the fact that they were not treated adequately with mechanism specific agents.

However the question of bombarding someone with some proteinuria and almost normal renal functions with steroids (Pred) seems radical 😅

Yes my exact opinion, guidelines may be evolving and improving but what happens in reality?

Our patients either come with a creat of 8,
Or they’re loaded with steroids for quite long without even SGLT2i or ARBs many times, and they’re just victims of therapeutic misadventure.

Again at our centre too we give it coz it’s cheap and “for whatever it’s worth” - but mostly it isn’t worth anything at all.
