Here are some tips for words to embrace and replace as you talk to your communities about the fight for climate justice.
Graphic compares two types of messaging. ‘Say This’: ‘Publicly owned utility providers’ and ‘Non-profit utility.’ ‘Instead of This’: ‘Comparisons to other public services like schools or libraries.’ Note explains that comparisons to other public goods are not persuasive. Our freedom to come home safe, speak our minds, join in union, and control our bodies is under attack.

We must use clear language that shows what’s at stake, calls out the MAGA agenda, and builds lasting resistance.
