Yeah, what they meant is, “if your state votes for Kamala Harris, we’ll convert it into a police state”

Is that in their Constitution? Yeah, they’re not doing that anymore; something about pesky stuff about checks and balances, and separation of powers

The time for laughing has ended, except for nervous laughs to distract from the terror.

The fact that he was elected twice probably indicates some level of poor education and stupidity. The right response to that is to bolster education, not try to eliminate it as a federal department, though; to provide opportunities for the people of your nation to get opportunities and experiences.

I disagree with the “most of which he created” bit. Without the deep problems in the US, he could never have risen to power. He’s made many of them worse and/or highlighted just how bad they are, but the problems were very much already there

Limit my power to make decrees on a whim
January 19, 2026 at 2:52 AM
You did say “where the fuck”
January 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM
He said a new golden age, he meant a new gilded age. That makes complete sense, too. He never cares about substance, just appearances. He would always choose gilt over gold
January 18, 2026 at 8:59 AM
And what, precisely, do you think he’d do if a foreign state openly did something directly against his narcissistic arse, which threatened him personally? Noting: PotUS is the sole arbiter of the use of US nuclear weapons. He’s already forced that Australian ambassador to resign for old comments

You seem to be confusing ”avoid” with “provoke”
January 17, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Genocide definitely falls under the whole not killing thing.
January 17, 2026 at 11:36 AM
No. It’s that anyone knows who he is, outside of some real estate people and building contractors who know to avoid having any dealings with him at all. He should be quietly passing away in obscurity and a puddle of his own excrement

If we entertain the notion that it’s not just complete made up, then a physician would call it minor bruising.
January 17, 2026 at 2:55 AM
I actually don’t think that you need regulations for some of that latter stuff. Incentives, for sure, but they can be carrots rather than sticks. If you can get most people to do something like install rooftop solar for less than the cost difference of doing it later, then you’re ahead.

Regulation is essential to a functional economic system. Capitalism is founded on the idea of free markets. Ideal free markets are modelled on axioms which break the laws of physics. Therefore regulation is absolutely necessary to make real-world markets behave like the models
January 16, 2026 at 11:37 PM
Here’s my take on regulation: The axioms of an ideal free market all violate the laws of physics. Thus a free market is impossible in reality. The purpose of regulation of markets should be to redress market imbalances and other deviation from an ideal free market.

The USA and the world can’t wait for him and his entire administration to be voted out. He needs to be removed from office
January 14, 2026 at 8:39 PM
Yep. Impeach, remove, prosecute, execute
January 11, 2026 at 10:58 AM
The shooting of innocent people won’t stop until the guilty are removed from positions of authority, charged, and punished

Impeach, remove, prosecute, execute

Trump doesn’t consider the factuality of the lies he tells at all. He just says whatever he thinks might benefit him regardless of its veracity
January 10, 2026 at 5:24 AM
One is a honour, the other is a horror
January 10, 2026 at 5:22 AM
The previous guy to talk like that was stopped. The USA likes to claim credit for it.
