Giving power to external causes such as food is a form of idolatry. To fear what you eat is to deny the dominant power of your own

Stage 3: The Liberation

The final stage is the realization that food itself has NO POWER over the Spirit. We do not avoid meat to be "holy". We realize that holiness is an inner state that CANNOT be tainted by physical matter.

At this stage, you realize it is not the diet that matters,

Stage 2: The Purification

The purpose of the vegetarian stage is to develop the power of Choice. It is a pure act of will where we break the predatory instincts of the animal body to prove that the Spirit is master over the flesh. It is a necessary school of compassion, empathy, and self-control.

Stage 1: The Descent

The spiritual function of eating meat is to ground the spirit into the "heaviness" of matter. It provides the dense, material energy necessary for the soul to fully engage with the physical plane. We cannot play on earth if we are too floaty to touch it.

This is the evil that we speak of.

NOT directly created by God, but permitted by God so that his beloved Sons and Daughters can choose to play in whatever experiences they wish to.
