She's such a pretty floofer!
When I'd come home from a long trip, my cat Dippy (Serendipity) would act mad and ignore me til bedtime, when she'd perch on my chest and purr like a jackhammer.
My other cat, Doc, was the opposite. She'd immediately purr so hard she'd start blowing bubbles from drool.

I've been going through boxes of old stuff this weekend and came across this drawing I probably made around 1990 (5th/6th grade). Monster trucks were just starting to go mainstream, with ads for events at the Cow Palace playing frequently on TV & radio.
Still better designed than the Cybertruck.

So this was when I worked at a camera store and they let me wear my Tusken Raider costume on Halloween. It popped up on my phone today. That was a fun period in my life. The store closed a couple years later, in 2006.

The line for covid & flu shots at Kaiser was halfway around the building when I got here. They closed 15 min ago but are going to keep vaccinating everyone who was in line when they closed.
HUGE thanks and appreciation to these #nurses, and all nurses everywhere working hard to keep us healthy.

Do it as soon as you can, just keep in mind some providers are already making them unavailable. Kaiser Permanente is currently telling people to wait til mid-September and not even letting you check the box for a COVID shot.
