no i don't think they're written by Patterson but, fwiw, they're always filed under Patterson (within the library systems and bookstores i've worked in). they're also advertised as being a Patterson release.

Frieda McFadden is starting to release really frequently as well but i'd say she's closer to every 8 weeks.

i'm not sure if this is who they're referring to, but James Patterson releases about that often. he averages 3 books on the hardcover NYT bestseller top 20 at any given time.
