Its worth taking to an apple store to get checked out. I had an ancient macbook out of warranty hit the pavement... somehow they magicked things and replaced the screen and optical drive for like a few hundred.

This ages me like 20 years but id you can find a used Nikon D800e (the e is important here), it was, to some degree, designed for accurate astrophotography and Inwould imagine cheap used now. Its not 4k video but I have shot several indy films with it and its beautiful.
