Obviously a bit out of scope. But at least Dutch and German engineering degrees don't require any humanities.

Gonna be bluesky blasphemous here but I'm quite satisfied with our focused degrees in NL. Zero Gen Ed requirements but somehow we manage.

I've had zero mandatory "Gen Ed" classes studying Mechanical Engineering in the Netherlands. Somehow our society functions.
