Absolutely. The original sign, from 1931, was apparently the first neon sign in Düsseldorf. (The one in the photo is a modern restoration).

Not sure in this case. But I do know that the difference between Tegernseer Hell and Tegernseer Spezial is higher alcohol percentage by volume … so maybe that has something to do with it?
