Might be common knowledge, but the "Computed" tab of your inspector shows styles with a little arrow on the left side. Click that arrow and it'll show you the cascade of styles affecting the element, letting you see which styles the applied one had to clamber over to get to the top

Did your GitLens commits view suddenly disappear from your VSCode source control sidebar? Don't panic (I did)--this was apparently part of the GitLens 16 update and you can get it back!
