I just wrote a python script (in WSL) which creates a personalised email draft directly in the outlook app on the Windows side, with multiple personalised word doc attachments. All because I can't be bothered to learn how to actually mail merge.

I'm vaguely on the lookout for a UK or UK-ish timezone company (or amazing freelancers) to do some UX/Product design work (ultimately ending up in a VueJS app). Only building a shortlist at the moment, but.. recommendations of people/things to checkout?

Working out which google api to use to get your own reviews (more than 5) is an absolute minefield. I think I've worked it out, but now I have an API quota of zero, so can't even test it. WTAF Google.

Getting the hang of Cursor. Must say, I wouldn't have got as far as I have building my first React Native app without it - about 2 weeks through, and first prototype is basically ready. Noice.

Trying out Cursor. Initially promising (even managed to fix my linting/prettier config) but has now gone into a loop of not being able to make a RN action sheet appear.

I have spent a day down the react native hole. First impressions:
- Expo is clever.
- You have too many routers
- Nesting tabs within a drawer with stacks is...tricky.
- Most of the UI kits aren't great.
- Expo is clever.
- You have too many routers

Just spent an entire day debugging why a AWS fargate service wouldn’t start. Naturally I just put it in the wrong security group. FML
