Peter David wrote the first comics I ever read. Incredible Hulk 455 and Spider-Man 2099 1. He got the Hulk for me, specifically, because he knew I liked the Hulk and he thought the cover and the first page was awesome and Spider-Man 2099 was one he got for himself and then gave to me. Rest in peace.

Got Metamorpho #1 in the mail and I appreciate Ewing and Lieber immediately hitting me with one of the greatest opening pages of a Big 2 from the last 5+ years.
Really fun intro issue. An intentional throwback done with modern art and a somewhat modern pace, still packed with hijinx and character.
