The changes that Level-5 made to Fantasy Life I's gameplay flow have been so well done man. I booted up the first game on 3ds and immediately felt just how much the game needed the QoL.

We had our yearly student artwork exhibition today and seeing some of my students from last year get hype when they saw me genuinely brought a smile to my face dude.

I might buy a new capture card soon. I've had the og first Elgato and while it's still kicking to this day, it'll no longer be enough when that switch 2 drops.

Lowkey, I really dislike the "Well guys, I really didn't want to have to say this, but I WILL NOT be buying [X]!" type posts over on the bird app. They feel very attention hungry and performative, especially when 9/10 times they end up buying the thing anyways.

Random thought tweets that go viral are very funny but equally annoying. You either get people misconstruing what you said, a war in the replies, or irrelevant counter arguments get brought up.

It really needs to be studied how much of a gargantuan fumble Multiversus became, man. Had a huge turnout for the beta, only to shutdown for over a year, came back with a worse general perception due to how the game looked slower in motion into shutting down AGAIN a year later.

If I ever see someone say "Super Metroid is overrated" or something, I gotta ask for receipts of their playtime because that game is a generational, genre defining game.

Nintendo adding Ridge Racer 64 to NSO was not something I anticipated at all. I haven't played that game since I was like 7 so it'll be neat to do a revisit

Seeing all the opinions on the switch 2 just off of the reveal is really taking me back to the months after the first switch was revealed. It's almost all the exact same arguments and assumptions being made as back then.

The idea that Nintendo "isn't doing anything innovative" when we haven't even seen the software yet for the Switch 2 is crazy to me. Nintendo already has enough "gimmicks" inside the switch itself that they're pretty much at the limit of what they can do without making an entire new concept.
