If Sakurai thinks that he can speak like this for the whole company that he works for, then I don't know how much sympathy I can have for where Nintendo goes next in the future.

The initial decisions they have made about the Switch 2 are bad enough.
We shouldn't need "AI" in gaming.

in order to contain and limit what trained algorithms are able to do.

"AI" should NOT have any level of creative control in its present state.

And maybe he does get that and is lying to everyone else about it, while embracing changes from one type of work environment to another.

The worst part is how negative influences are being conveyed positively, attempting to enable a factor in a work environment that should be massively fenced in--

Yes. Reveal video is on Nintendo's YouTube channel.

Yeah I mean, I love vaporwave and silly B-Movies and Old TV shows unironically. The reason I love Vaporwave is because of the nice nostalgic feeling it gives me and it reminds me of my early childhood in the early 1990's watching the Weather Channel. ❤️

or the kneecapping required to make it seem like "THIS WHAT YOU NEED BUY NOW", when there's no excuse for either side of developers to be THIS freaking sloppy.

It has felt like that, hasn't it?

The actual rate of hardware to software innovation has slowed down immensely, which makes me wonder what they are trying to guff us into with newer generations. I say actual because I am not sold on generative "AI", not with its cursed results,

More VRAM is nice, but the slop that rides along I would hope you could toggle off if you wanted.

If not? Probably smarter to pass.

This kind of statement is more than an opinion, isn't it?

I knew it, hardware has truly peaked on performance and it won't be worth upgrading for a while.

Why does this sound like it's going to intensify motion blur to absurd degrees?

Despite hype news, it's really easy to call current gen hardware a "plateau machine" for at least 5 to 7 years.

I've been doing it ever since I started building my own rigs.

I'd say what happened to this place is that Twittards stirred the pol pot yesterday.

I need to go replay that at some point.
