“Scroll of the Cú-Sith” Text on the left hand side reads in Scots “In forests daurk and deep, it's afttimes best to hearken weel and haud yer weesht Tak tent and haud yer wits aboot you, for if it blaws at saur fairy wind ye ken he's comin for you, and if ye hark at awful gowlin tak leg away fraet. Whan ye hark the seicont gowl ensure yer gaun hame, for if you hark that feenal gowl yer shuirly hame-gaun.” Below that is the rules text “When you successfully cast this Scroll you gain one Howl counter. If you fail your Presence check to cast this scroll you will be stunned for 1d3 rounds” Top right is an image of an antique scroll with bone rollers. Upon the scroll is a wolf howling. Below the scroll is the rules text “All creatures within 3o feet of you must make a DR 1o Presence check. On a failure they lose idz health and are stunned for 1 round Expend 3 Howl counters when casting this scroll, All creatures within 30 feet of you must make a DR 14 Presence check. On a Failure they lose 4d6 health and are stunned for 1d3 rounds. If you have 3 counters and do not expend them before a rest, The scroll immediately casts this spell as if you expended 3 Howl counters.”

Really getting into the groove of things. Once again another Scots description #mörktober #scots
Sgian-Dubh top left. Below the title is the following text “Frae hen-hertit sneckdrawer tae sleek-gabbit troker, nane are wantin a braig, beetock nor chib. But heidmost amang aw manner o blade is the slee wee siller deil. On a 4 you may immediately make one attack roll using the Sgian-Dubh”

Day 2 - Maw.

The Frog Prophet Bellows. A d12 table for the sound of croaks. Another d12 table above that dictates what the prophet demands. A d44 table to the side dictates the prophecy the prophet orates. Below is an image of a large frog inside a swamp. Moss covers the frogs back.

I’m once again asset posting when I should be writing that tiny last wee bit. But wondered if these stat blocks come across as readable / approachable or scary / inaccessible.

Working on the hexcrawling for Hawker. Scanning the horizon feels like a super fun step you can take in the hexcrawl procedure to plan your journeys… and make more efficient trade routes. Also gives you the fun chance to spot points of interest in the distance
