Great thing is that the designs are 90% consistent now. I think I can finally do a detailing of parts and then a simplified "overall" reference to really lock this in.

Yeah, when I first learnt about them I thought it was just a "techno worship" faction (I always love the idea of like modular machines and stuff in combat) So it was a bit disappointing to learn that even if it was cool lore.

My only complaint of tau designs is the mechs are too slim (I mean and I guess their lore isn't really interesting for me). While I never got to playing the tabletop (money + time = nada) the bulky machine designs were what drew me in lol.

-own innovation + I rarely actually see any warmachine models for their armies so the interest has waned. Currently the faction I enjoy the most thematically is necrons and imperial knights lol (though more necrons since the only thing I enjoy of the knights is, duh, the giant mechs lol.)

Gotcha, didn't know that. Had thought they were all just survivors and not that some of them were puppets before now lol. (Though granted I wasn't super interested in the faction so makes sense I know less) I used to love the idea of mechanicus the most but less so after learning they stiffle their-

-else would your following here share your stuff if you don't post? Heck I would use bsky more if more people I follow do so (don't blame them if they don't want to though, "restarting" a following is tough) Ya one of the most active people using this platform and its nice to see the results of it.

I saw someone comparing it to basically back to basics with social media account building/finding like deviantart days and thought it was quite accurate. It does help that you already have a following but still very much a "if you give people a reason to stay, they will" kinda thing imo. Like how-

That being said it just occured to me that blockheads can basically be mini dreadnaughts, little guy (maybe dead, maybe not) locked into a metal/wooden box to pilot xD

I am not too sure about living armor, weren't chaos space marines just space marines who turned to chaos and use souls/demons to power their armor? (So not really *their* souls being trapped. My knowledge of 40k is also very scattered)
