As someone who studied and taught Ancient Greek myth and the Odyssey, "historical" accuracy isn't a central concern for me to enjoy or critically engage with this film. But that helmet design looks unfathomably dumb.

As someone who studied and taught Ancient Greek myth and the Odyssey, "historical" accuracy isn't a central concern for me to enjoy or critically engage with this film. But that helmet design looks unfathomably dumb.
Disney's OpenAI deal just reinforces my impression that media executives believe audiences are mindless, undiscerning content consumers, and it's a misguided stereotype that has been played out forever.

I finally went back and played through the Icebrood Saga in Guild Wars 2, which I missed when it originally released. It has some excellent writing and character moments but they're slightly marred by the mission format in the later chapters.

I still think one of my most formative moments as a grad student was when I borrowed a book from a professor for a review assignment and found her marginalia full of curses
