I believe that! It's hilarious that naming conventions, and the associated preferences and dislikes, come part and parcel with learning how to code.

I have never known the same level of fun and terror as I did in UO. It was an experimental playground. If you haven't read some of the stuff that Richard Garriott has put out about the history of the game its fantastic. Plus, they birthed the real MMO genre.

No, its most definitely part of the fun. It most reminds me of the early days of Ultima Online when they would make changes and chaos would reign for hours, or days as they scrambled to fix the slew of problems they inadvertently created with the change.
