60 too. We are Gen Jones. Too young to participate in Woodstock, summer of love. Instead of the Kennedys, we had Thatcherism, Regonomics, "greed is good" culture as we left high school and competed for jobs. We jones for a world that we know is possible, like a proper pension when we retire.

Me too! I read it as a kid and it stuck with me. During long stretches of rain, I will tell whoever is kind enough to listen about the story. I've never met anyone who has read it. Thank you for sharing!
