The question needed to be asked, after all this investment, what is the end product produced, is it any good, and will we still need to import high grade steel as we are rapidly losing the ability to produce it ourselves.

A good friend/customer of mine, is a professor of Metallurgy, when recently servicing his oil boiler, we got talking about electric arc furnaces, as one does 🤔
He tells me the electric arc furnaces are going to be used to smelt scrap metals, but cannot remove copper so the steel is of a lower grade?
