My vote goes for RCAF.

I can imagine seeing Tornadoes and Harriers coming in at low-level must have been a sight to see.
It'll be interesting to see what the new targets look like.

We've just had a RAF A400 Atlas come over the cottage at 500 feet and 300 knots. Got to love a bit of Flightradar24.

Hope to be back when they've got an open day. I'd love to go down, just to see the reality of one. Obviously not for three weeks at the start of a nuclear war. Couldn't imagine anything more horrific.

Bombing wasn't an exact science back then. 😉

Fantastic.
The Royal Observer Corps bunkers are getting fewer by the year. Too many wreaked by vandalism. The nearest one to me in County Durham has been sealed as it's just a shell now.
I'd love to get to the one in Holbeach to have a look.

So very, very sorry to hear this.

Thanks for that.
One of the suggestions I've read was that it got stuck during an exercise. No mention of during WWII.

So very sorry to hear.
Thoughts are with you both.

Kara is just steadfastly not moving.

Huzzah!

Kara and her new holiday blanket.
Perhaps there's something going on we don't know about? 😁

And it was excellent.
Definitely made me consider my approach to running games.
Thank you.

Cheers for that.

Currently in Bomber Country for the week.
Will have to head over for a gander.

By chance, we were talking about the Churchill photo being taken in Hartlepool as well. 😁
Personally, I believe that beyond the 1st July '16 there's the story of how the British Army used the machine gun. How the Machine Gun Corps brought in a scientific approach in their use that no other army did.

I did. Very well presented and some great insights.
I'd question some of the views on the First World War, but that's me. 😁
How about you and Hubblet?

I believe we were all in the same car park tonight.

I think you do a grand job. I may not be interested in everything you paint but that's absolutely fine.
I'm always interested in seeing new products used and old products used in an alternative way.
Keep up the good work.

I'm still learning but I enjoy using mine now. I can see my skills improving.

And finally, see about getting on a one or two day course.
I only used mine for a couple of jobs, priming and varnishing. Went in a two day course and it gives enough knowledge to try a lot more stuff.

As for a compressor. I'd suggest one with a tank and a regulator. No need to buy anything too swish.
