at least according to nbcnews no but feel free to link a source that says otherwise. The tariff is paid by the seller but often the seller just increases the price so it gets passed onto the consumer

Why aren’t cords like this then we’d never have to worry about carrying different cords or plugging it in correctly it just snaps right in place
