I put on sunscreen every morning. Apparently it's good to add to your skincare routine, even if it's not sunny outside

Ok maybe part of it is I feel pressured into liking girly things, but I genuinely am enjoying myself. 😫 Also am I doing this thread thing correctly, replying to my own comments like this? 🤔

I feel the same about liking fantasy in general, as well. I'm trying to branch out from the genre some and enjoy more stereotypically girly things (not because I feel pressured to in order to be a girl, but because I want to), but still fantasy remains close to my heart.

And yes, girls can enjoy video games too, and a lot of trans girls do enjoy gaming, but I feel a weird pressure to justify myself in the eyes of cis people that I am in fact a girl, which means I'd rather hide the fact I like to play video games.

Adding onto this thought, I feel a weird amount of shame for liking video games. Part of it is that it's just a nerdy thing to be interested in, and yes, it's more acceptable and mainstream nowadays, but mostly among guys.

I was the same. The big scaredy cat of my family. I would always hide when a horror movie was playing, and a lame creepypasta could genuinely frighten me. I didn't have a nightlight but I often left the bathroom light on, which was across the hallway from my door. That annoyed my stepdad a lot lol
