Agreed. 😂 I just had no idea what it looked like because I only saw the tubes, there were no sample swatches or anything. If I had known how beautiful they are, I would've picked up the entire set, probably. 🙈

I was in Japan back in July and I saw these. I regret not picking up a few tubes. 🥲 I did get some of the granulating Holbeins though.

I have an Escoda Reserva Kolinsky Tajmyr travel brush that I really like. I think they also make it in normal brush sizes. They are pretty pricey though. For synthetic watercolor brushes that hold a good amount of water, I really enjoy the Princeton Aqua Elite brushes.
