I had a huge external frame pinning my leg together after a bad break. When it was being removed I was covered with arrows. How they would have removed a non-existent frame from the other leg I'll never know, but I appreciated the belt and braces approach! Hope all goes well for your son.

I don't really remember enjoying Freshers Week, it's this weird artificial time that bears no relation to what university is actually like. Hope they can hang in there and find life much better when real university life gets going x.

Absolutely. I've read the book countless times so could follow it, but my daughter was bewildered. Perhaps if they'd have given Jo a mustache or something in the later time-line it would have been easier.
