now, no visual sucked but the audio was awesome. if they do actually somehow get out a season 3 (potentially with some different cast/characters) i hope they keep the audio editing but add the cameras so i can see the physicality of the acting, i like that stuff.

i liked how the court episode went, and how it progressed, and how they actually did some battle without combat and shit!!!

and of course, a really good ending. fernie/the furnace sacrificing himself, but the epilogue hinting at a possible rebirth, mwah. chef's kiss.

this isn't to say everything was bad, the cast were funny, even if they struggled to stay in character sometimes (sans shayne and to a lesser extent, chanse) and i adored ian as doug the fashion wizard and especially arasha as faerasha faelani, celebrity fae lawyer

epilogue actually happened, leading to dolores killing 30 goblins, as mentioned above. while koda did something extreme, it was moreso justified (so long as the season 1 epilogue was retconed to noncanon) and while obviously bad, it wasn't just straight up murder.

bug also had this weird thing. his epilogue in season 1 established he returned to his hometown and his fellow goblins adored him as their genuine hero, but in this season, even though it is established they have a stone statue of bug... bug is still hung up on bullying and doesn't act as if the

it felt Shayne didn't actually want the furnace to kill tungo, but it would be in character for him to assume that to be the correct course of action, and that bug would stop him. bug did, thankfully, leading the furnace to being funny and also not as much kf a sociopath as the rest of the party 😭

furnace, the violent sociopathic robot somehow is the voice of reason most of the time the party goes over the top, it's CRAZY. he has good moments, a cameo from season 1 frog npc tungo leads to furnace wanting to kill him, but but stops him, as tungo's a friend.

there's no real consequences for this action, a fault of having a set episode total. the team finds what they need because the goblins are either "fearful" or potentially just stupid, honestly. koda and bug don't get off scot free on the murder hobo accusations, but they are BETTER.

yeah, crazy enough but fuckin' delores paradise gets the highest civilian body count somehow? interestingly, she's dual classing, from a warlock to a warlock/bard. she killed something like 30 goblins who just kinda were existing in bug's hometown because she was mad at one?

fernie becomes "furnace" and is re-recruited by the party. a very different and violent character, who's honestly a lot of fun! dm damien described him as being an angsty 13 year old murder robot, lol.

episode 1 is a great start, it's interesting to see the character's new station on a ship as they seek out the turtle dragon/dragon turtle (who the accidentally released in season 1) and it culminates in fernie "dying" and becoming a flaming metal man, a cliffhanger for a boss fight

so number one - i am a noob to dungeons and dragons, I've played one proper session and have played a few sessions in a similar tabletop game that's suicide squad themed, but i know some lingo from watching d&d YouTube.

they are WAY too murder hobo-y in this season, sans, weirdly, fernie/furnace.

27 - sword af season 2

this was... a little disappointing? had a lot of cool stuff and there was fun to be had but... idk, seems less good lol.

not even an issue of being audio only, it was moreso how it played out. will discuss in depth seperately later.

fernie was peak though. no complaints.

bonus points if a heap of the crappy games make it in too but i think those games are the main ones people would buy
