Indie Game Development for mobile/pc platforms.

We are against microtransactions and subscriptions, even DLC's rub me wrong.

Games should be finished in full at release with maybe minor bug updates that weren't noticed in testing.

for those wondering why im not doing a patreon or kickstarter, its because im funding this all with my own money.

our monthly budget is around 1200$ for production.

since i code - that costs 0$

my artist - charges based on the asset

SFX/Music - still looking.
game design, as soon as you think you have it all figured out an idea you have makes you have to learn something new.

learning never stops, it never ends

ok, so most games release in a timespan of 1-3 years.

Paying employees - $117,000 per employee

100-200 people - 11.7m-23.4m/year

out of a 50m$ budget

Marketing - 0.25-0.50 cents per $ spent.

you don't need this many chefs.

the ballooning game costs is due to them wanting it pushed out quickly.

and this is the game version that got scrapped due to not being fun.

however it did teach me a good bit about how to use unity

Basically my goal is to bring games back how they were when i was a kid, if AAA studios won't do it, then ill use my knowledge of coding to bring back the fun to games, im sick of playing games only to get paywalled - yes i know development costs $ and time, but these companies abandoned

just some ideas im tinkering with, with placeholder assets, version 1 of the game was an idle clicker, but when i finished it... it wasn't fun, so i restarted the project

the game will be made fully in pixel art, i do have an artist on staff but their currently working on the achievement icons.
