Why do people draw if they hate the process? I saw someone say they hate drawing and yet they continue to do it… why would you do that to yourself lol

In regards to art, people tend to say “Comparison is the thief of joy”
Comparison personally helps inspire me to work harder if I want to be just like those artists I compare my own art with. It can be a double edge sword but try to use that as fuel to work harder. You won’t improve by just moping

I always think it’s so inspiring seeing people improve so quick, really makes me want to work harder so I can improve as well ☺️

Trying to draw at least an hour a day from now on 🤔 found an app where I can track the time for a bunch of specific tasks so I will definitely utilize this to keep track of what type of drawing I do and how long I draw each day.
Very motivating having a goal such as drawing an hour a day imo
