Made totally-not-Ikea-meatballs for dinner. Made my own gravy by tweaking the taste from a packaged mix, adding cream and bouillon, and boy did it pay off! Not bad for something just tossed together quickly.

Sadly, for the 3rd year running, I have been put on the waitlist for Furry Fiesta. I truly love that con and understand that there is just not enough room for everyone. Here's hoping I can make it into the Artist Alley.

Back from our week-long WDW trip! Got to see an old, old friend after almost 16 years, spent time with chosen family, kids, and wacky Disney characters. Glad to be home, though. I am exhausted.

Went out for a combination of Pride and No Kings Day, brought the doggo. It was actually a lot of cheerful people, many in inflatable costumes. No hate being spouted, just community supporting one another. That's how it should be.

Been watching a fun PBS Kids show called “Lyla in the Loop” with my kiddo. The show is all about critical thinking and problem solving! We love Stu, the little odd creature who takes directions literally, which leads to some interesting problems to solve. No idea what Stu is, other than CUTE!
