So I tried it out! I didn't go too in-depth, in part because I'm not personally very familiar with CSP and wasn't sure what to try. But pen pressure definitely works!

Basically, Proton tries to make a folder called "compatdata" in every steam library folder, but there's files in there with names that won't work on NTFS.
The fix is making a link called "compatdata" inside the library folder that points to any folder on the Linux drive!
