You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last tv show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?

They're gonna come Kool-Aid-manning their way through a wall with a tank built in M5.

If you get the chance, grab the trade paperback, which also includes two other amazing Moore Superman stories, "For The Man Who Has Everything" and "Superman and Swamp Thing". And then, maybe, live happily ever after.

Swanderson return, gracing the cover of Action Comics 583 with their art, which is the art the cover of the Trade is based on. While Bolland's art is good, I'm in love with Swanderson's original; from Supes' expression to the detail of the buildings in the background, it's just beautiful.

Being a single standard issue, the story proceeds at a break-neck pace that effectively conveys Superman's life falling around him. The last page, a full spread of Superman sitting in his Trophy Room, surrounded by memories of his past, conveys a very human moment for a very literally Super man.

The paragraph is too long to fit in a post, but I think sums up the power of Superman as a character very well and sets the stage for the bittersweet, melancholy notes the story will hit. "A perfect man who came from the sky to do only good" is one of the best reads of Superman, in my opinion.

The story starts in Superman #423. While the main story is penciled by Curt Swan and inked by legend George Perez, the cover is instead inked by Murphy Anderson; the team (Referred to often as Swanderson) did many of the classic covers you think of when you think of early Superman comics.

Reading from a trade, so getting started with Brian Bolland's cover. Utilitarian, but really conveys the melancholy, bittersweet nature of the story, which serves as a coda for pre-Crisis Superman.

If I had a nickel for every time someone leaked a classified or export restricted military document on the WarThunder forums, I'd have 55 cents, which is way too many cents to have in that context.

Let's just type away here and see how The Dilbert Guy (who lives in a Dilbert-shaped house) is doing. Just take a big ol' swig of coffee, I'm sure nothing will make me comically spew it all over my monitor.
