Remember the DOJ wanted to refund J6ers for any restitutions paid when they were pardoned, and Trump floated paying them more as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he funnelled more money to all of these former convicts.

(if they eat all your new roses and you don't like it... little babyfood jars with some old kimchi in them will keep the deer/mammals away but humans won't notice... my cats were not happy when they lost their morning "show")

Oh also, check out Tiny Prick Project, going back to his first term. I need to try to sew some travel sewing/embroidery kits up for a few loved ones to go with some vintage hankies with the suggestion that they can make Tiny Prick pieces from them.. or other happy things!

After the holidays I'll likely attempt to "slow stitch" some No Kings themed patches (gold crowns with red X marks over them) to give my loved ones & whoever else I find that wants some.

Not that I approve of a single thing that she stands for, but actual grieving people shouldn't be judged for accepting moments of joy.
She came off 100% phony at his memorial & the few other times I've seen her, terrible acting to take advantage of the momentum, but that doesn't mean grief is absent

2013 ended ban on gay youth, 2015 on gay leaders, 2017 on transgender youth... (Girl Scouts was inclusive beforehand, by intentional policy). MAGA was due to turn on them :(

Oh, also 2013 Boy Scouts dropped the ban on gay youth, 2015 on gay leaders, 2017 on transgender youth... Girl Scouts were LGBTQ+ inclusive before that (again local acceptance varies).
If they ban meetings on base for former-Boy Scouts, then Gil Scouts is next. So many military families are scouts.

Sadly agree (like, not like). They absolutely view DACA recipients as illegal immigrants... & with encouraging tips, imaginative false charges, etc anyone can turn on them and report them. Or they can get trapped while maintaining required communications/visits to immigration.

Regarding Girl Scouts... years and years back the Boy Scouts accepted girls into limited programs (like Venturing) but Girl Scouts promoted inclusivity and accepted transgender scouts (though local acceptance is often a different matter). Either way, national policies have a lot of DEI per MAGA.

I can't imagine that Girl Scouts will be allowed to meet either (the scouts referred to in articles are the org formerly known as Boy Scouts). So when banned from meeting at bases, many overseas kids will be effectively locked out. Renegade underground troop meetings?? Hate this admin so much!

But, they definitely seem to feel that DACA status isn't an impediment or can be easily struck down w/various excuses. BUT, having DACA status is something that many shared w/those around them, so the Leavitt family had to know as would their friends. Any of them could have tipped ICE off :( 2/2

This fall they seem to have repeatedly detained DACA recipients and try to deport them, sometimes with the court blocking it. The worry many of us have had since Trump first got power is that he'll use DACA information as an easy target list. Doesn't feel widespread enough yet to be a campaign 1/2

I’m just guessing, but it could have been that the photos were part of their new “face scanning” tactic where they run ai facial recognition on whatever random people they scan/photograph and then take more action. I read an article recently on it and about how it’s supposed to be very inaccurate.

I'm surprised that the White House hasn't instituted a contract like the one that they tried to impose on Pentagon reporters. If this blockage at immigration courts spreads, I wonder if it's a testing ground & what new ways the regime will use to hinder the press from any location they control.

i remember wishing i had the skill sets to draw her that way but my last thoughts were about how to knit or crochet the image and failing at it)
