MP has more heroes than light poles…..which is why this needed to expand! There is also an issue of funding, and a slight technical issue around banner sizes….but I digress.

It featured local MP Heroes…..and has been growing as they added more. The local Legion worked with the MPBIA to swap out the banners

Sigh is right. What they really meant to say was thank you for coming out and supporting our festival and helping us highlight all of the fantastic businesses on Main Street. It is you who make it better and please have a safe trip home.

A good read. The Province needs to end the Community Garden loophole…. But started out as possibly good intentions is being abused, and the rest of us are all paying the cost.

Am I reading this right...if your business has over $1M in payroll ( which is a a medium sized biz ) , the Biz pays an additional 5%, and if a person makes over $1M, so do they?

I know that Vancouver Coastal Health has 15 Vice Presidents, and I think Inland and Island have 12 each...the ambulance service only has 5 vice presidents...All of these organizations are top heavy, and sucking up all of the funding, and constantly demanding more $$

So, let us pretend this did happen…a place the size of Canada would become at least 10 states, with 54 reps in Congress, and 20 Senators…and the Republicans would never be in power again…ever.

I remember being "sold" on the fact that the villages / high streets would be protected in the original Broadway Plan presentations. . I did a quick search on the new 390 page amendment....I found zero instances of "economic Impact"...like it was not even a consideration. Hmm
