New report available from our Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey at Somerleyton Hall in June 2025:

The data suggests the presence of heated flower beds, known as "hot beds", extending immediately beyond the main glass houses.

The survey revealed the location of a Roman town house with an intact floor layer, an insula wall lined with a series of 1m square plinths, and a possible small shrine or cistern.

Animation of the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) I made from the data I collected at St Osyth's Priory, St Osyth, Essex. This form of presentation helps to visualise a complex 3D data set and allows the variation of significant anomalies to be seen with depth.
