Wondering how the most 'intelligent' primate is so susceptible to the projections of a few with questionable personality styles.
Mostly in a political context.
This broadcast is intended only for the delusional.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian hospitals, schools and residential premises are showered with drones and missiles.
Nice.

It must be safe, of course.
It must also be available, and be entirely the decision of the individual who’s life is in question.

About time

It’s an interesting view, but unfortunately we have a two party system. I’d argue that good politicians are wasted if they’re not either Labour or Conservative.

I believe Clive challenges rather than undermines, it’s democratic. He also champions socialist values, the epitome of a Labour’s promise.

I’m not sure understand, other than to note that freedom to post opinion in the Guardian, The Telegraph, X or BlueSky, has to be a good thing.
March 10, 2025 at 11:29 AM
Perhaps we ought to explore those new ways.
Given recent events in the Washington, I’m not convinced that traditional diplomacy’s effective. My impression’s that the President’s negotiating style is combative. Clive’s proposal may appear blunt, perhaps though this is a language that Trump respects.

He openly challenges the leadership, I think it’s exactly what today’s society demands. It facilitates public debate & transparency in our politics.

I’m all for elected representatives who feel free to speak outside the walls of Westminster.

Imagine BlueSky with only party line politicians.

I think you’re absolutely right Clive, we live in an imperfect and complex world, with choices made more difficult as a consequence.
We’re too often drawn into black and white thinking, with good intent, but the grim truth is we must play the cards that lay before us.

Crazy thing is, it’s become more difficult to decipher comedy from reality.

A man flitting between Antisocial Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Train driver required to pass a psychometric test prior to employment.

President of the most powerful nation on earth: no such requirement.

Stunning and shocking, but let’s be honest, not entirely unpredictable.
Equally stunning is the apparent lack of preparedness on Europe’s part, and on the part of the Democrats.
I hope I’m wrong, and that we’re about to witness justice in action.
March 9, 2025 at 4:54 PM
The general lack of self awareness in the current WH entourage, is truly remarkable.
If I didn’t know better, I’d say that no amount of psychological support will help. The rather strange grin doesn’t do anything to dispel the notion either..

Well, he would say that, his life literally depends on it.
March 6, 2025 at 9:34 PM
I don’t think it’s just mainstream media in the US.
By and large, news corporations around the world are reporting what’s happening now as if it’s business as usual.
It’s not, this is a state of emergency‼️
March 6, 2025 at 6:14 PM
A sad state of affairs, and a total betrayal of Ukraine, the western allies, but perhaps more importantly over the long term, the American people.
I fear the US will be greatly diminished if the current administration is allowed to continue with their wrecking ball politics.
March 6, 2025 at 5:16 PM
I totally agree. That he even feels the need to rally his allies is a joke. Other than the moral case, or that the Ukrainians fight so we don’t need to, there’s our bleeding obvious commitment to the Budapest Memorandum.
March 6, 2025 at 5:03 PM
With Trump, it’s a case of black and white thinking. You’re either with me or against me, I either love you or hate you, etc.
Because Zelensky was not prepared to do Trumps’ bidding during the Hunter Biden fiasco, Trump literally hates him.
It’s all consuming, like a virus it consumes his entourage.

By any other term, that capability to turn 180 degrees, means a propensity to U-turn at a whim.
And/Or perhaps a lack of consistency/commitment.
And/Or, just entirely unreliable.
March 4, 2025 at 2:15 PM
The tweet would be more appropriate if it was Zelensky posting about Musk.

But Zelensky wouldn’t post that. It would be below him.
March 4, 2025 at 1:55 PM
Perhaps the greatest challenge now, is to convince a huge swathe of the American electorate, that they have been duped.
Importantly, that it is not their fault, but that we must now unite to make immediate change at the very top of government.

There is still time, but time is running short.
March 3, 2025 at 11:29 AM
He doesn’t care much for the US either. His entire modus operandi is based on gaining power and privilege.
Zelensky stands for democracy, for the people. He’s popular, and a leading light in the world.
Musk stands for the complete opposite. He and his ilk are a real and present threat to us all.
