Almost a decade ago I wrote a report for the IPA on the Future of Agencies, and used a framework to define a key dynamic for the future: systems and empathy. I've found myself thinking a lot about this now we're truly in the age of AI. onlydeadfish.substack.com/p/fish-food-...

I've been working with the BBC this week on how they use AI. I love the BBC. What it does and how it does it is needed more than ever and the licence fee is exceptionally good value for what we get and what it does for the country

I really believe that AI agents are going to upend everything so I've been doing a lot of research to form an opinion on where this is going and how to prepare for the change. The result is a presentation - a manifesto (of sorts) www.canva.com/design/DAGfe...

I moderated this fascinating event this morning launching what I think may be the most interesting piece of research I've ever been involved with. The topic - how marketing operating models are evolving. There has never been more change in this area - report out on Thursday so look out for that.

Unbelievably, this was written by Carl Sagan in 1995, for his book 'The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark'. Remarkable.

This is one of the most brilliant articulations of just how difficult it is to predict the future - a 2001 memo from Lin Wells, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, to President George W Bush titled 'Thoughts for the 2001 Quadrennial Defense Review'
